Retail businesses need effective website

Hexhamshire Brewery don’t have a Brewery shop as such so their website is an excellent platform for selling on line.

People often want to find out more about you; what you sell; when you are open and where you are. A more professional website with good content will be more likely to turn your site visitors in to footfall for your premises.

Hexhamshire Brewery had quite a few custom features for their site – a custom brand typeface used throughout the site; a monotone map to suit their brand and they use the case study functionality to list the beers they have.

Sell your products on line

Make it easy for people to buy what you sell

The e-com version of TENT FLEX a a shop page that can be broken down into different categories and each product has it’s own page.

You can add cross sell products and it also shows the delivery information on every page – don’t make people have to hunt out that info!

You can even display featured products on the home page so people can see your best sellers straight away.

A brand built around a logo

When we started working with Hexhamshire, they only had a logo.

Everything they had, had a different design style so our first task was to create a new brand around the logo.

We came up with a new brand colour pallet; supporting brand typefaces; a photographic style and even a brand tone of voice for the copy.

We then campaigned the brand out to pump clips; bar runners; bottle and can labels; advertising; leaflets; branded clothing; branded glasses and banners.

Effective design

Good design needs to do more than just look good! It has to be effective too and that’s a big part of everything we design.

So here is one example of how we work. The pump clips for their real ales are often used next to lots of other breweries clips. The monotone design enables Hexhamshire’s clip to really stand out.

We also set the ABV text at a much larger than standard size. When real ale drinkers look for a pint to drink in a pub, a lot of them look for the ABV percentage that they prefer – so making the percentage text larger helps people to notice Hexhamshire’s beer more easily, helping to increase sales at the bar. Which is exactly what these clips did when launched.

Working with TENT FLEX has been extremely straight forward – they have a sharp eye for detail and created an easy to use, attractive website with many custom features.
